Seagreen Community Funding
Large Fund

We are delighted to announce that the Seagreen Community Fund, with up to £250,000 for large project(s) is now available within our ward, your input and notes of interest are essential and valued.

Who Can Apply for Funding

The fund is open to applications from constituted (governing document) non for profit groups. The Project seeking the funding must be for the benefit of the Residents of their Community Council area. Any grant received should be spent within one year of being awarded.

What Does the Fund Support

Community-focused charitable activities which :-

  • Enhance the environment, conversation and biodiversity.
  • Improve Community spaces, facilities & services.
  • Promote health & wellbeing
  • Promote sustainability

For revenue projects it is important to bear in mind that there is no guarantee of ongoing support. A key focus of the fund is sustainability and, as such, we would encourage groups to be working towards being self-sustainable where possible.

Applications where clear efforts have been made to explore other sources of grant and/or where reasonable efforts have been made top raise funds through local fundraising will be looked at more favourably.
